ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE?

Elmasia Agriculture and Food Ltd. Sti. It was founded in October 2021 as a women's initiative.

We produce Amasya limes in our garden in Hamamözü district of Amasya. According to the research of the Amasya Governor's Office, our district is the only place where real Amasya apples are produced in the trees planted by our grandfathers 50-60 years ago. In fact, according to the mosaic in the image, which was found in Amasya a few years ago and dated 1800 years ago to the Roman Empire, Amasya has been the homeland of the Limestone for many years.

Although our apples are typically small, red in skin, white on the inside and hard, they are famous for being juicy and for being able to be stored in a dark and dry place, without the need for cold storage, from October to April-May when harvested. It is a product that does not enter the market much because it gives high yields every two years and is grown only in our district and is sold more expensive than other apple types.

Apart from fresh apples, we also produce dried apples in the form of chips. We do not use any additives or preservatives, coloring or flavoring. We do not do any pre-processing so that the color does not lose its naturalness, even if the appearance is not beautiful, at the expense of darkening, and we dry it untouched.  Although we have our own registered brand, we can also supply in bulk.

The geographical indication of our apples has been registered. In addition, our pesticide analyzes were made and presented to your attention in the appendix. In our own garden, the drugs allowed within the scope of organic farming are used. We buy apples from other producers, provided that the analysis results are at the desired level.

In addition, women's cooperative or individual
Tarhana soup produced by our women with products grown in the region, apple cider vinegar, apple marmalade and walnuts, garlic, salt, red pepper we call şibjişuw, and a spice grown in the garden of the houses, called xeuben in Circassian, we know as coriander in Turkish, mixed and pounded by hand, our traditional Circassian spice/condiment. there is.
